We have had the pleasure of working alongside the stunning Naomi Crook. An independent Cornish jewellery designer creating and making from her bespoke studio in her garden.
Her mixed metal original pieces are inspired by Japanese pattern and the momento mori tradition. The artistic and symbolic reminders of morality are interpreted through her tiny and delicate hand made skulls that you can find hanging off earrings or attached to long charm necklaces.
Naomi aims to create alternative, unique pieces for everyday wear. With this in mind we took to the streets to create an urban, quirky backdrop for this shoot. Simple clothing colours of white, black and grey didn’t detract attention from the metallics and semi precious stones. With Emma Griffin taking the photos we created a fun and extensive look book Naomi can use throughout the year with the lead up to Christmas. The images were perfect for use across social media, adverts and web.
After attending one of our social media workshops, we worked with Naomi one to one to help her create more of an aesthetic for her Instagram and understand how to utilise hashtags and engagement to grow her following organically.
” Thank you so much for the workshop and the one to one session I booked after meant I was able to hit Top Nine in the hashtags with my posts regularly. ” @naomi.crookjewellery
